Sweet Birch

Birch, or sweet birch essential oil, is high in salicylic acid and methyl salicylate and has been traditionally used for relieving sore, stiff muscles. Traditionally used as an astringent, used topically, sweet birch has analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties and helps protect skin from fungal and bacterial infections.
Birch oil also stimulates nervous, circulatory, digestive and excretory systems, and helps to dull the pain associated with arthritis and other cramps throughout the body. Birch essential oil can also help reduce fever.
USAGE: Use in small amounts mixed with your favorite massage oil, or add a drop to your diffuser. For a wonderfully soothing bath, add a drop or two to your bath water.
